Brown spotting throughout month?!

After my period finished last month I kept getting brown spotting/ discharge which has lasted this entire month. Next period is due tomorrow and spotting hasn't stopped. It's not heavy, just there when I wipe ( sorry TMI) or find it in my knickers.

I've had to wear a pad the whole month.🫤 This hasn't happened to me before, ever. Has anyone been through this? Any ideas? No pain or cramps. Just annoying discharge.

Same with me. However, I did not get my menses. On cycle day 41. Not sure what's happening. Gyno says just wait and see.

Thanks. My period this time has been very light which is unusual for me. Could be hormonal. But I'll wait and see too. Xx

If it doesn’t go away, best to go to the GP. I had up to 10 days of spotting a month as an endo symptom, but haven’t had it since having surgical excision. A cervical ectropion (they are harmless) can also cause spotting but the fact it’s brown makes me think it might be old blood from your previous period or a burst cyst which has been retained.

Thanks. Sounds about right. It's never happened to me before. So I'm not too bothered. I've also got a 3cm Fibroid so I'm wondering if it could be that? Also going through perimenopause. But definitely if it happens again this month I'll let GP know. Xx
