Pain all throughout the month?

I used to get pain only during my period. Which would start 1 day before I'm due and about 3-4 days after it stops.

However lately the pain although not as bad, seems to be lingering even throughout my non menstruating days.

Anybody experience this? Do you get pain only during your period? Or is it constant?

Thanks xx

Hi. Hope you are having a more comfortable day. I found my pain slowly got worse over 5/6 years from just being 4/5 days a month to being two weeks to pretty much all month. It’s definitely worth getting it checked, so a pain diary for a month to show them. I did get sorted but it got very bad before I even got a diagnosis. In the meantime what pain medication are you on? Ask for a referral to the pain clinic to help manage it. The endo diet helped me so might be worth a look. X

So basically it's getting worse...Spreading? How did you get sorted? Was it surgery? Only thing I take for pain is natural medicine and heat. I don't like tablets. I'm on the anti inflammatory diet. My diet is very restricted so much that I don't enjoy eating anymore. Some months are better than others, so I don't understand anymore what triggers it, what doesn't. It's inconsistent, unpredictable and just plain crazy! I'm getting really sick of having it now tbh. My family are probably sick of hearing about it. It's been 7 years of pain and I don't know for how long I can put up with it. Surgery isn't an option, (I'm inoperable because too much scar tissue/ adhesions) diet is hit and miss. Just trying to be strong for my kids, but I'm mentally tired now.
