Does anyone know how long it takes for prostap to wear off?
Been back to gynae today and after 3 months she doesn't want me to have anymore because I'm in my early 30's - being booked in for diagnostic lap to see what's going on( hopefully finally get a diagnosis)

Did they put you on prostap with no diagnosis before it? I'm on prostap I'm 33, had my first injection my last week of being 32, I'm 3 weeks in and was only given 3 months worth, then go back and discuss hyster, but I thought you could have it for 6 months?
Yeah with no diagnosis- you can have it up to 6 months - I saw diff consultant yesterday to who put me on it they obviously have different views on prostap
So are you staying on for 6 months now? How come they didn't do a lap first? How are your side effects?
I'm 10 weeks into my first 3 month injection and I'm having constant light bleeding and period pain but not heavy at all but I had no diagnostic tests neither as I suffer with heavy prolonged periods! Idk what this bleeding is at all but going to my gp tomorrow about it as I think it's the prostap wearing off early then what it should be I'm beginning to feel paranoid and disheartened by this drug and what it's doing right now......idk if it's a period or what but my periods NEVER EVER do this they are normally fully on by now and this bleeding has been here since friday afternoon ......people been saying it's not a period etc but honestly I keep thinking it is but a mini one but then again I've never had a mini period or light period ever
