Prostap heavy bleeding

Hi Everyone, I had the Prostap injection 3 weeks ago. So far it has made the pain worse which I expected, as I was told this might happen. However this week I keep having floods of heavy bleeding with no warning. It happened at work yesterday. I'm struggling to cope with it, I don't feel I can go out in case it happens. Despite wearing pads and tampons all the time it just soaks through. Has anyone else had this, an if so is there anything I can do to try and cope better? I'm beginning to regret having the injection. Any advice would be great.

I am also suffering like this.....heavy bleeding clots then nothing.....then at anytime it starts again. Soaking through everything I'm also looking for answers

Hi, it did get better but starting bleeding again on hrt. Apparently I shouldn't have been given the 3 month injection the first time, I should have had the one month one for a couple of months first, which explains the symptoms. I've just had my second 3 month injection and still bled but not as bad. Its taking a while to stop. They've advised I have the 1 month Zoladex one next time. Hope your symptoms settle down soon x

I'm on my third lot of prostap3 and it's just getting worse but I see a gynaecologist on Monday hoping they can shed some light on why I'm still bleeding.
