I went on depo and found it amazing! Stopped my periods and my pain reduced drastically within about a week. I found it so good I had the implant put in as its same hormone and it lasts 3 years x

Did you have any break through bleeding or other side effects? When you went on the implant did that stop your periods

Not with injection no, but I was only on it for 6 weeks then swapped to implant.

It did stop them, then I had my lap in October and I've been spotting ever so lightly but which is causing pain since end of Dec/start of Jan. Not ideal but it's far better then before too

I was told that however was complete opposite for me! I in fact bled for 2 out of the 3 months however it did suppress my endo pain.

I was on them for about 6 years was only toward then end I started to have them so then went on implant had 3 courses of this befor I started having problems with periods.

they say if you don't have a period in the first 6 weeks after injection you don't normally get them. However if you do bleed in the first 6 weeks you may still get them.

I was lucky didn't get any weight gain with either the implant or injection.

good luck.
