Cyst pain - do i need to worry it’s ruptured?

Hey all,

Had a laparoscopy in October removing endo from my pelvis and a coil fitted.

A few weeks later I was having agonising pain so referred for an ultrasound to check my coil was in the right place, and it was but they found a 5cm cyst on my right ovary which had either grown super fast or been missed by the surgeon.

I am now awaiting seeing the gynaecologist again next month but for the past few weeks I’ve had agonising pain in that right side , very sharp and taking my breath away. I can feel it in the front , side and also going down to my bum. It’s there pretty much 90% of my day and no painkillers seem to help. Before my endo was removed I did experience pain most of the time but on both sides rather than just one.

My question is do I need to be worried that this cyst could have ruptured? Just wondering if anyone has experience of this.

Thank you very much!
