left rib pains?

I went into hospital a few nights ago with horrible stabbing pains on my ribs (left side) i'd never felt that much pain ever in my life.

At the hospital all my bloods/urine tests etc we're normal. They thought I might have kidney stones as my back was hurting too so they performed a scan but everything looked normal too and they sent me away with some painkillers.

It's been a few days now and i'm still on painkillers but I still feel aching pains when I stand and walk around for a short period of time.

I was wondering if anyone has exprienced something similar before

Hi pizza101 I to experienced this last month they thought I had appendicitis or kidney stones all my tests came back normal to. So got sent home with painkillers, they just put it down to my endo.

I get this with perimenopause xx

I get a lot of pain in this region too but thankfully hasn’t been severe enough for a&e yet. I have been told by a few drs that it’s likely to be kidney related but so far scans and bloods for kidney function have been ok!
