Hi all,
I had my first lap yesterday morning. They found stuff (I was too woozy to remember details), as well as endo on my bowel which will probably be discussed/have a surgery planned during a follow-up appointment. I have a few questions!
Has anyone else had experience with ovarian anchor stitches? They SUCK so bad but I guess they serve an important purpose. I hate how I can feel them when I move.
How long before you can poop as normal again? Last time I went was the morning of the day before my lap, so it's been about 3 days. I started over-the-counter dulcoease capsules this afternoon. Starting to feel the pain though, a little apprehensive about my first movement
I've noticed over the course of this evening that my urine smells sweet? I'm passing it a lot better now and there's no cloudiness or pain at all.
Howwww do you keep up the bravery to do the blood-thinning injections? I thought I was so brave and I'm not. I also thought I did well but I'm bruising. To be fair, the first one the nurse did is bruising as well, but not the same as mine. :/
I've started getting bruising down my left side, and I dread all the steps I still have, like the anchor stitch removal, changing my dressings on Thursday and 6 more of those injections. I'm gonna look like a purple beachball by the time the week is through.
Endo truly is the absolute worst
