I had a lap two weeks ago to remove endo and an ovarian cyst. Ever since I have been feeling very tired and very dizzy when standing up or just in general. I don’t think this is the anaesthetic as it’s been a while since surgery and my symptoms seem to be getting worse.
I’ve googled (I know rookie mistake) and it says blood loss/infection causes anemia. Is it possible my stitches could be infected as it’s been 2 weeks and they still haven’t dissolved?

I had fairly major endometriosis removal, plus tubes plus 10cm endometrioma in June. I was quite dizzy after the op too. Was found to have iron deficiency anaemia 2 months later. My ferritin wasnt great before the operation though, although technically in the normal range. I had stitches that hadn't dissolved after a month. If the area around the stitches is looking angry- red/ hot to touch/ painful then perhaps see your GP.
If it helps I still felt pretty dire 2weeks after my operation. It's very hard to not worry.
Hi I would personally speak to my GP about this and maybe get a blood test to check. I always know when I am low and have been so low I was put onto an IV drip. You know your body and how you feel, please don’t suffer xx
