Switching from combined to mini pill with PCOS and Endo

Hi everyone - brief history, I was diagnosed with PCOS as a teenager (around 2000) and have been on Yasmin combined pill for around 15 years. I was finally diagnosed with endo (stage 3/4, RV and other areas) in around 2016. I've had multiple laps to treat the Endo, last one in Feb this year. At my consultant follow up this week the doc recommended switching from the combined pill (Yasmin) to a minipill, as I get breakthrough bleeding with back to back packs, other symptoms like headaches and leg cramps, and incredibly emotional and tearful before a period. I am nervous in switching as Yasmin has controlled a lot of the symptoms I got from PCOS (acne, dark patches of skin, darker hair growth and heavier periods) but I need to change something. Has anyone had success managing PCOS and Endo on the minipill? I think I need one where the progestin is less androgenic... thanks so much for any wisdom!
