Hello Everyone,I’ve recently changed from microgynon to cerazette (am nearly50 so GPswitched me). I’ve been omit for three weeks so far and have been bleeding everyday. Dis anybody else have this? Is it normal?does it settle down and stop? I feel like I’m living a Groundhog Day over and over and over. Please give me hope that this will improve? Thanks

My GP told me it's not unusual to bleed for up to six months when you first start it. I gave up after four, but a friend has been on it for a year now and only bled for the first month.Good luck

Hi there, if it is any consolation, it took my body over a year to settle with Cerazette. I have now been on it for over 3 years and it is working well, with occasional bleeding. If your symptoms are bothering you or become more severe, it would definitely be worth discussing it with your GP. Really hope it starts to settle for you!
