I've not been diagnosed, i just suspect endo is my issue. Was wondering if anyone has ever had breathing problems with it? I've been short of breath for a month and getting sharp chest pain, right now its worse that my period is due soon so i thought maybe it could be this. Other symotoms are bowel issues, cramps when i pee etc tummy pain, blood tests clear, stool tests clear uti is clear. Is it worth me getting a ca125 test? Also i'm on the nhs, who should i ask to be referred to? I've been having lots of bowel issues. Should i ask for a gyno dr? So many qus sorry, thanks

Chest pain and shortness of breath?
Chest pain can definitely be a symptom of endometriosis, especially if it tends to get worse before a period. I've suffered with that terribly and the shortness of breath. Perhaps you find you can get tired just from a conversation. Unfortunately a lot of doctors haven't even heard of this type of endometriosis. It's often on the diaphragm. Along with your other symptoms, it could very well be endometriosis but getting a doctor to listen isn't always that easy. Tell the GP you've done some research and you wonder if all your issues together point to endometriosis. Hope this helps. xx
Thankyou ive told them and ive been referred but all my scans, abdominal ultrasound and chest xray keep coming back clear? I deffo think its endo tho, the pain was so bad b4 my period i couldnt move
All my scans were always clear too. Endometriosis can only be seen at laparoscopy and even only then by an expert. If you are crippled with chest pain in that way I'd put money on it you have endometriosis on your diaphragm or chest cavity. It can get anywhere. They spend so much time and money trying to prove otherwise. I've no idea why. You end up thinking you're going bonkers and imagining it all. You aren't! xx
