I had my first lap 10 days ago and my period was due 2 days ago but still nothing until now. I’m experiencing mild cramps every now and then but still nothing. Is that normal?

Hi I had my laparoscopy 11 days ago and I have started my period. I’m usually in agony but it hasn’t been as bad which I don’t even dare say outloud! I was told my period might not come for 4-6 weeks by the nurse and also I read that online. Did your period start when you expected it to in the end? Mine is a few days early but I’m glad it’s following my predicted cycle. X
