Folate level of 4.5 feeling exhausted

Hi all,

So bloods came back as ‘normal’ with b12 934 and ferritin 48.

My folate is 4.5 and I’m tired all the time struggling to get through the day. Is this level of folate concerning at all in regards to fatigue?

Hi from what I can gather your folate should be between 4.5 and 45.3 it varies with age. They say below 3 is classed as low folate. One of the main symptoms of low folate is fatigue and lethagry and muscle weakness and feeling dizzy. Low folate can lead to anemia. Speak to your doctor if your concerned they may suggest taking folic acid for a few months xx

So the range on my blood form says 3.8-9999 which is why I was thinking it’s low?
