Hello. I had laparoscopic surgery 4 months ago where they excised endometriosis tissue.

I have healed really well, and quickly considering and have not had any problems until today.

Today I did some yoga stretches, and have since felt pain inside the belly button area and below. Like a pulling/tugging pain when I stretch.

I am assuming this is because I am still healing internally????

How long have other people taken to fully heal?

It takes about 6 months to fully heal! For all inflammation to go down! What you’re likely feeling is a bit of scar tissue, as that’s what it sounds like! Some mild stretching won’t do any harm, and in fact, will probably do some good! I wouldn’t go full on stretch til it tears, but just mild stretching will stop it healing short of full range of motion! Massage of the area is also helpful!

Xx

Hi, sorry to hear this you need to be kind to your self and clearly your body is saying NO,

Mine was 6 to 8 months after,

Have to take it easy, do plenty of walking and allow ur internal body to heal,

Take care

Stay safe

All the best
