Another day another flare up, I honestly cant take this much more. After 7 years I have tried every medicine they can you and still nothing is working. I have another endo surgery coming up but its put on hold with covid. I'm just ranting but also interested in what other people do for flare up days. Currently sitting with my tens machine on high after taking all my meds and still in agony

My list has been added to last week with Pregabalin, taking it as well as Amitriptyline, Tramadol and paracetamol. Hate all of it. I think the Pregabalin is having some effect on the abdominal nerves, but still lurking. Everyone needs a good rant now and again 🙂
I had to go into hospital again because my flare ups were making me violently sick, could eat and pain meds were coming straight back up 🙁 I’ve been through all the meds too but it’s my bowels that are in agony. When it’s not so bad I usually have my heat pad on, or have a hot bath with some Epsom and magnesium salts to help with cramping. Turmeric or raspberry leaf tea or green tea if I’m constipated.
Just wondering how long all your flare ups last for? I have been having a flare up for over a month now and still seem to be getting worse! I have a heat pad and a hot water bottle for my lower back and pelvis. I’m also taking amitryptaline, paracetamol and occasionally codeine but they don’t always help ☹️. I Also have teas with chamomile, peppermint and ginger in them not sure if they work but they are quite soothing! Hope your flare up has eased now! X
