This is my second post. since my first post I have had more scans and blood tests , more pain killers and a new pain on my left side ....I have been informed it’s possible endometriosis in my left ovary as well as my right (also unconfirmed). Recently my pain killers or my tummy pain (one of the two or both) has been making me physically sick.
Sometimes Food smells can make me feel sick , or I can be really hungry and know what I want to eat but the second I start eating I start feeling sick and my body just isn’t enjoying what ever I’m eating.
But as of recent I can eat something small or have a drink and everything comes back up, it happens when ever (mainly around my period), does anyone else get this?.

If it’s the painkillers making you feel sick, your GP can give you something to counteract this. When I first had Oramorph they prescribed something in case I felt sick. I haven’t had this will the medication, but have had problems wanting to eat, or when I do can feel nauseous and can’t eat much, but don’t throw up. Scans show nothing much. I’m still trying to discover why, I strongly suspect there are still adhesions.
Be careful how you go, I’ve lost a lot of weight over last year and half which wasn’t intentional. Do mention it to HP if you haven’t already 🙂, hope you get it sorted soon
My daughter gets that all if the time. She hasn’t been diagnosed with endo but has all of the symptoms. She drinks a lot of Canada Dry and eats small meals. I hope you get some relief from this.
Obviously, it can be a mix of both things making you feel sick.
If you're taking anything like aspirin/ naproxen/ ibuprofen/ mefanamic acid... Etc, then you have to take them on a full stomach (not just a couple of crackers, but a proper meal, preferably with something like yoghurt to combat the acid) or they can damage the stomach lining - this can make you feel sick & give you a lot of stomach pain as well as risk of stomach ulcer.
are you on any contraceptives? The combined pill made me very nauseous (in hindsight it was very similar to morning sickness - I should have never been on it in the first place though as I suffer with occasional migraines - much less than when I was younger) mess up by the GP.
Sounds like you have a doctor who's willing to listen, so that's good news.
