I thought I'd give an update to those who are following my journey around 1.5years ago I was diagnosed with endometriosis my issues ranged from bleeding out my bowl on my period and my endometriosis specialist found nodules deep in my vagina indicating endo lesions .i had A misscarrige at 12.5 weeks and never thought I'd have a successful pregnancy again .I was sure endo was the cause as successfully conceived in the past and my pain at that point was unbearable I put it down to inflammation in the body!if my body is not well how can I conceive how can I give it what it needs?i had ultrasounds which showed normal cysts which later went away I started eating grapes in case it was endo cysts a girl on you tube got rid of hers doing this!
Anyway I'm waffling before I get the question ?i did not have a lap I've never had a lap !but I did consider it and was put on a waiting list .
After lots of research I found there is no cure for endo even after removal this made me think more about not having surgery though at first I was ready to take the leap as I was prepared to do anything to get rid of pain but I changed My diet I stopped sugar caffeine red meat researched vitamins for endo diet.the period repair manual (Book) By Laura birden helped me understand vitamins a lot and my condition.I started eating healthy then I finally conceived once again I was scared and kept thinking I would loose the baby but here I am 31 weeks only 8 weeks away from giving birth to my baby girl
Sending baby dust to all those trying

I am so very glad you through this so difficult time in your life and 31 weeks 🤰 hooray and a huge Congrats! Wow, amazed that changing your diet has helped you too! I shall have a look for this book Afrohair by Laura Birden! I love grapes and buy black or dark ones, my favourites! When I was younger I had very heavy periods, after 4 healthy children! Eventually I ended up with a cyst on my ovaries which thank goodness burst and went away by medication from my doctor then! But I suffered from anaemia due to my heavy bleeding during my periods! Then my doctor referred me for scan which is slightly uncomfortable but glad as I had fibroids and a few months later had a D&C! It took just a few more years then Menopause and after that no more periods! Felt free and much better physically!
But then life changed 2019 and I suffered a heart attack, and was diagnosed with coronary artery disease and vascular disease in June! Took a year to recover from that and then lockdown happend!
Tell you I am so grateful that I am still here and I am loved from my grown up children!
Praying you will have such joy with your baby girl when she is born, honestly!
Was wondering, can you give normal birth or do they want you to have a Cesarean, hope spelled out hat right 👌
Enjoy your Christmas and feel blessed!
Think you are an amazing woman and you be an amazing Mother too! God bless 🙏🥰🤰
Thankyou and I'm so sorry about your troubles my mum has vascular dementia not sure if that's the same but it's heartbreaking!something always pops up when you think you are getting back on track with life she was ready to start a new life when the doctors dropped the bombshell.shes only 54!and also suffered from fibroids.i guess I've inherited her genes she's not sure wether she ever had endometriosis but her sister did !im sure your very cherished by your children.i will be having a c section but not because of endometriosis but because I'm at risk after having a previous section the last section.thankyou for your kind words ❤️
That's a lot to take in, as I have worked in a care home for people with Dementia! Only 54 years old your Mum! That is a hard pill to swallow! But loving her will carry you both through this but in a few years time it going to be harder! First your baby girl right? When will she be born? My youngest Grandson was born on the 10th of January 2020 and can't believe he is walking now just 11 months old! Amazing little boy, think he is copying his older brother 😁😁😁 😂Enjoy your evening please Afrohair! God bless Christiane ❤️🙏
Funny enough she worked in a care home too and did all her life with people with dementia so she knows what's coming .it is very sad and very hard but I can only enjoy her at the minute her illness started from having a stroke .now she has several and it gets worse .my baby is due beginning of feb and mum is very excited she does remember some things she's not got that far where she's forgot who I am it's more PIN numbers wether she's bought things and certain events but she has some memory though you know how drawn out it can be.
I do certainly know that, it can take a number of years and it could change faster! I found when people with Dementia get ill or have operations it can cause deterioration sadly because of the Anesthetic they have to have! It can cause Delirium which is quite distressing!Let's pray your Mum will be around for as long as possible Afrohair! 🙏❤️
I didn't know that but I'll keep it in mind mum has got an op coming up for something else but hope all goes well and I'll remember to keep an eye on her.mum seems to always be Poorly with something or another but unfortunately according to g.p it's part of the disease the brain is dying unfortunately so causes lots of other problems x
I've also almost given up on having a baby after trying for 5 years with my endometriosis but I have finally managed to keep a pregnancy past 5 weeks! Saw my first heartbeat on Friday
🥰I was on the AIP diet for 2years and my endo pains disappeared
Did you get bad period cramps during your pregnancy? They sometimes wake me up at night. I'm worried. The nurse keep on saying it's my womb growing but it feels like endo period pains. I had this with my chemical pregnancies but obviously at the v beginning of my pregnancies
That's great news !❤️Congratulations.sometimes when we relax it happens!i got endo pain at the beginning of my pregnancy I think I have a post about it and how I was feeling at the time .So don't let it get you down I had a lot of cramping pains and I still get the odd cramping pulling type pains but I think it's adhesions.its great the diet helped you !😃😃
Congratulations! Incredible photo! Thank you so much for sharing, not being able to conceive is my biggest fear. But it’s so good to know it does happen! So happy for you! You’re going to be an incredible mummy! X
