Pain with urination?

Hello everyone. I wondered if anyone has ever experienced this? Woke up and had pain in my right side while urinating. I have bilateral endo cysts, and the pain went away as soon as it had started once I stopped weeing!

I’ve had this for months! Usually only happens when I have my period but it’s more often now! I have endometriomas on both ovaries, waiting for gynae R/V! Sometimes it’s so bad I actually have to press my hand into my side to help!

Most days it's a horrible pain isn't it 😣 goes round my lower back too x

Yes I had this too as a symptom with endo. It was always worse around my period so I think high hormone levels made it worse. Often I’d get flare ups with my bladder too which would last a day or two And felt like a nasty infection, so so painful. I wouldn’t be able to do anything during that time just hot water bottle, lots of baths, rest and drink water xxx

Sorry to hear you are suffering .I suffer with my bladder and painful to urinate, also get back pain... I get pressure which goes away when I have urinated..i keep getting fobbed of with antibiotics as it's similar symptoms to a. UTI ...just on my 5th lot since marcg..but now drs have realised it is most likely endo related and something called intersital cystitis, bladder inflammation caused by something irritating the bladder which is the endo..they were going to prescribe dicolfenic but I'm asthmatic, but can take ibropfen in small doses to help with any inflammation. So that might be worth a try ..and good old hot water bottle for the back pain... don't think people really understand how much endo effects the body....I hope you are ok and get it sorted x

I get this too!! Really bad lower abdomen pain when I need a wee and lower left pain (kidney area) but once I’ve had a wee it eases until I need one again! It does get worse when I’m due a period but it’s pretty bad all the time x
