I'm so sorry you're struggling right now.

If you're able to the best thing I take for pain is CBD oil. Look up the company Hempura, they have a range of different products and delivery is fast.

They've really helped me so much!

Stay strong xx

Thank you - I’ve just asked my work if while I’m waiting to go back to Gyne whether I can have a occupational health assessment.

I’ve got the mirena in which I’ve had for 11 months now I’m in pain again but not bleeding yet

Xx

You definitely need to see occupational health if this is an issue in work. Maybe ask your GP for a note or self cert for a few days while you're feeling as you do? It's okay to do so. You're hurting.

Can anyone in the house help you run and into the bath? Do you have a good TV programme you could watch while you're in bed? Some good podcasts?

I hope things get easier for you. I found when I was in your situation and taken all I could, a hot water bottle and my TENS machine would just take the edge off and lots of warm drinks.

Sending love 💛

Thank you - even though I would like to see OT I would feel guilty talking to them and knowing what I would like if I’m not yet officially diagnosed...

May have to ring 111?

Can it be possible to still be in pain with mirena

Call 111 if you want to, they can be helpful I'm sure.

I was in more pain with mirena than without to be honest. My pain has alleviated since I had my coil removed. X

Ok thank you for your help much appreciated.

Would you go ahead with asking for assessment even though diagnosis yet, what would you say?

Nite - give u an update if I ring 111

I can't see why an occ health referal wouldn't be unreasonable for you to ask of despite no diagnosis. You are still in pain regardless of a diagnosis, so surely that in itself is a reason to be referred to occ health? X

Maybe a hot bath to relax the muscles

You don't need a diagnosis to be treated for pain, you are suffering and need help, don't dismiss or minimise your pain, get the help you need please – and I hope it eased over night? How are you this morning?

I used to end up having pethodine injections then tablets when jt was really bad, but when your in pain you tense your muscles making pain worse, someone suggested a warm bath, very good suggestion will help relax, you need to contact your gp or 111 and maybe need some stronger pain meds.

You need to try take mind of pain do you colour or craft, read a book engross yourself in a film. Anything to take your mind of the pain as much as you can to try to relax the muscles and help ease the pain.

It is definitely worth speaking to your occupational health team. I am awaiting diagnosis myself, I'm under occupational health and they have been very supportive. They have helped put adjustments in place so that I am able to attend work and get through the day despite my high levels of pain. Just because you havent been diagnosed yet doesnt mean your pain isn't very real. You shouldn't have to suffer or feel guilty for not having proof to explain the reasons for your symptoms.

Take care x

Thank you - I’ll speak to work today.

What do I say to work why I want one

And then what to do I explain to Occupational Health x
