Endo Pain with extreme itching?

Does anyone have that? Is there such a thing as endometriosis in the abdominal wall? On top of 2 painful lumps on either side of c section scars, I also have what I can only describe as painful itching all over abdomen, the entire stretch under my belly button. My skin hurts to touch and it feels like it's right under my skin. It gets especially itchy after my period finishes and pain starts to subside a bit.

Anyone have this? Felt this?

This has got to be the WEIRDEST condition on earth🫤. The array of pains I get are just really strange. Aching, burning, stabbing, itching, prickly, bloating, sometimes all at the same time!

Thanks xx

I can’t honestly remember, but I think there may have been times. Generally lots of inflammation before ops and a I’ve taken antihistamines because of this. Before any op I took it because of abdomen. I mentioned I’d taken more than one a day to a GP and they weren’t bothered. Not that I’d recommend it. Endo has been linked to SIBO which is gut and inflammation, etc.

Since op three weeks ago, had awful itching at times, not sure why, mainly in area around belly button and an incision close to it.

Sounds like yours has a close link, maybe check out anti inflammatory diet, can’t name people but there is a lady who has great podcasts and website along these lines.

Ok thank you. I'll check those out. Xx

I used to be an acupuncturist so the take from that field is twofold. Skin itching is usually a indication of the liver struggling to process the slew of mad hormones, disregulated by products of the whacky digestion and possible congestion/ inflammation maybe of itself. There’s a point known as Insect Ditch which kind of is a good description of the horrible sensations that come with the metabolic chaos. There’s another energy channel around the waist region related to Gall Bladder as far as acupuncture is concerned like a belt and the gall bladder partners with the liver in processing of fats and food. So kind of related. Reducing anything that you know inflames for you and encourage any gut healing is a plus . There’s quite the view that endometrial cells don’t slough off and keep hold of the garbage of energy production making us feel super yuk as they don’t oxygenate properly. Hence feeling itchy, toxic and exhausted. Hope that gives you another take on how to consider the weird stuff.

Faced with this I’d probably review how well I was tolerating the medications first off, ensuring diet was clean as , include natural stuff to help wick toxins out of the gut ( some folk use things like silica gel or todo prevent ) high natural antioxidants that are tested on endo like NAC and Reservatorol ( from grape skins) DIM to help covert / breakdown the by products of oestrogens to ease the pressure on the liver. Do the background thorough research and perhaps discuss with a qualified naturopathic practitioner if you’re needing the confidence or guidance. Hope this gives you some idea of where to look if you are happy to consider a supplement/diet route.

Cutaneous endometriosis exists. Could it be that? Maybe you could search for posts on that and see if it sounds right, or make a new post asking for people's experiences of it. I'm sorry I'm not more help! I know itching can be a sign of lots of things, but those lumps made me think of cutaneous endo. I'm sorry you're dealing with this, it sounds really rubbish.

Hello there. Yes I've just found out yesterday after some research and made a new post on the subject to see if others have experienced it. Thank you for your help. And yes it's a very c***** symptom on top of the already painful annoying symptoms I'm dealing with. Really hate endo. Ugh 😖
