Hysterectomy date....FINALLY!! :)

Hi, I finally have my operation date for 3rd Jan. Finally after 15 months since my last op I can see a future without pain. I know it isn't guaranteed it will get rid of my pain getting a hysterectomy but i genuinely do feel that once my left ovary is removed and the endo it will help me 100%. or am I being very naive? anyway, I will let you know how it goes once i am able x

Sounds wrong to say congratulations but you prob feel like I feel at the mo and getting that date is a sense of achievement And a small whoohoo moment after a long long wait I have my surgery at the end of jan

brilliant, i've got mine this friday and i'm very nervous. but i'm so glad its finally happening. we will be like new women in a few weeks good luck x

Oh gosh good luck hope your ok I’m the same really twitchy about it!! Are you the same as me and only in hospital 2 days I was really shocked about that seems really soon ?

they have told me i'm only in for 1 night. I thought this was really soon but I would rather be at home. I am preparing myself for a longer stay just in case. tomorrow is the big day, last day in work today. I feel i am ready for it now and can't wait to get it done and over with. Hopefully it will be the same for you, the closer it gets to your appointment the better you will feel. x

I'm doing ok, pain is bad but its expected and it will take time to heal. I am making the most of getting pampered and getting breakfast in bed ha x

Hi, I feel a lot better today, I'm actually going to try a 10 min walk with my son, see how I go. My auntie is a nurse and said I should be ok. I'll let you know how I get on. Hope you're well x

Hello Clareheraty know it’s been a year you put this up.Cab i ask but how do you feel now?.What’s your quality of life?,still any pain or medication?.I am waiting on a date and gathering as much information as i can.
