Constant pain but GP says live with it!

I’m sorry to post again but I’m at the end of my tether! I’m going to give a list of symptoms and please let me know what you think as GP has said investigations show nothing so live with the pain. I’ve always had had very heavy, painful periods but my mother told me not to be a baby so I thought it was normal. (I’m in my 40s so I’ve lived with it!. The last two years other pains have worsened and I’ve been pushed from pillar to post although I e always tried to say I think it could be endo.

Painful sex (avoid now unless drunk!

Constant flank pain

Stabbing form bottom/ vagina

Feeling of fullness in lower right side

Constant pain around right ovary

Pain in area of appendix

New right shoulder pain

Microscopic haematuria - cystoscopy clear

Clear hysteroscopy

Clear colonoscopy

Pain “up there” with sitting or standing for long

Pain throughout the night

Sorry ....... and pain is worsening all the time which surely indicates something is wrong and it’s getting worse. I’m exhausted and so frustrated. I’ve seen a gynae privately who fitted a coil and said because pain continued after that then it can’t be gynae. I know it is as it worsens even more around ovulationand period.

Sorry for the rant.

Hello

Sorry your not being listened to the gynecologist you saw was talking out of their ass. Just because a contraceptive doesn't help with the pain does not mean it can be gynecology related at all. I've been on a bunch of different birth control pills and still had pain and I have endometriosis. Plus there's a bunch of other gynecology related conditions that a contraceptive doesn't fix. So clearly this gynecologist just doesn't care/should not be doing the job they are.

Do you have the option to see another gp in the same surgery, you may find another is more helpful and I'd recommend specifically stating that you suspect endometriosis and want it investigated.

So sorry to hear this, have you been able to see anyone about it yet? I have most of those symptoms and have been diagnosed with endo, the flank pain is a new one for me that has only come on recently so I want to know what could cause this

Hope you have been able to manage the pain, I know how utterly awful it can be
