Since having my second laparoscopy and ablation three weeks ago I have been having trouble going for a poo. I cant go unless I take laxatives. Has anyone else suffered this post surgery. Just wondering if it's due to my body still healing.

Are you taking codine? That constipates you A LOT!
Hello, I am struggling with this too but I was taking codine for the first week so I'm wondering whether that could still be having an effect?
I had that as well and had to take lactulose and also ate prunes with my breakfast, but gradually stopped having the lactulose as I didn't want to rely on it too much. Make sure you're drinking enough water and that you're not straining. Peppermint tea may help as well. I hope you start to feel better soon.
