First period after laparoscopy

Hi, I was finally diagnosed 4 days ago. I was so happy to hear that after I woke up. I dealt with the pain from the gas wich was terrible. I have weakly bleeding, but Im not sure that is my period. I have heard that after laparsocopy the period is more heavy and painful. But when to expect it? Will it come sooner or later than usual? And if is it more painful how deal with pain? Please, give me some advice.
