Iām about to have my 3rd excision laparoscopy for endometriosis and endometriomas. Iāve been getting excruciating pain mainly on my right side and down my left leg. However, the first two laps showed that my left side was covered in endometriosis, endometrioma on left ovary, left ovary embedded in pelvic wall and endo close to left ureta....but nothing at all on the right side. Why is the right so painful? My surgeon said itās nerve pain but what exactly is that? Iām going crazy with right sided pain but Iām pretty sure there wonāt be anything on that side again!

I always get referred pain where the cyst is on the left side and I feel pain on the right and vice versa. No idea why! I have awful pain on my left and have a scan soon. I bet they will find a cyst on my right...
This is the same with me, I had a hysterectomy as had pain on right but apparently endo was on the left side! Pain has continued on right so am finally 2 yrs later on list for another lap. I have a fibroid on my left ovary which is small so have been told its not causing me any issues although I still have left shooting pains occasionally but bad pains on right. I dont understand it either.
I get pain on the right side which is due to a cyst on the right. Can you book an appointment with your GP to discuss things in full so you have a better understanding?
