Antibiotics delayed period?

Hi all, random question here. My period is late, I had all the signs it would start then today when it was meant to, they just stopped and I feel fine. Took a pregnancy test that came back negative too, only thing I can think thats affected it is I started a 5day course of antibiotics last night. Is it even in my system enough to delay my period and if not, whats gone on as I'm usually 26 or 27 days like clockwork!

I don’t know scientifically, but last summer I had a 10 day course of antibiotics for tonsilitis, and my next two cycles after (I don’t know if they were on time or not) were incredibly light and practically painless. After those two they went back to what I normally experience, but it’s a possibility it’s the antibiotics.

Thank you for the reply! For the last 8 months or so I've had UTIs and been on varying different antibiotics for anywhere between 3-10 days and it's never touched it before which is what's made me wonder this time! x
