I've been having similar pains in those areas still plus other areas around there a month before lap and 4 and a half months after my lap. I was never told what stage my endo was but it is severe endo as well.

Do your pains range from a dull ache to shooting and sharp pains?

If so, it's most likely nerve pain. I was told after my op that I will experience nerve pain because my nerves have become sensitised to pain since I was in pain for so long before my diagnosis and op.

I am currently trialling some pain meds and nerve blocker medication since my nerve pain is daily and can get quite debilitating still (although it has improved a bit). I'm getting a referral to a new gyno soon since I haven't really improved since my lap. I either have adhesions or my endo might have grown back already.

Hello, I have these pains. Down my leg and into my back as well as cramping which I presume is my uterus? on my left side. I had a laparoscopy for excision 8weeks ago. They found Stage 3 Endo on my rectum and lots of scaring and adhesions. I have had 2 caesarians and this was my 2nd lap. I’d really hoped this last surgery would have helped, and feeling really disappointed that it hasn’t ☹️ My doctors are talking about Neuropathic pain now. I’m off to see a physio and a nutritionist so 🤞🏻 they may be able to help? It’s a horrible pain x x

I'm sorry that you have had all these surgeries and 2nd lap still hasn't helped. Yes I am also seeing my gp for a physio referral. I am with a dietician but I feel the dietician doesn't know much about endo so it isnt really helping me much in having a good diet and what to avoid etc.

I opened my bowl and I'm in so much agony now, I have lower back pain, bowl pain and feel like my back is going to snap if I move anymore.

x

It really sounds like the same pain as I have. ☹️ It’s so horrible. I really feel for you. I’ve been fighting this for 3 years and find it so frustrating that not many people really understand Endo. Keep fighting, and stay positive! x x

I was diagnosed suddenly after collapsing in the street last year September 2018 within 3 days at the hospital they done a internal scan and found the cause of me collapsing as J had endo cyst stuck behind my uterus which was affecting my lower spine and cause me to black out with such pain.

I went through a lot the last 12months to get a lap, hospitalised 8 times with 2 weeks stay, needed counselling to help me get through it all as it really affected me emotionally and mentally. As I would ask questions to gynae specialist and they kept leaving me with unanswered questions. Which I then referred myself to a bsge centre and never felt so relieved that I was finally under care of specialist that can answer some of my questions and can give me more information on endo. But after the first lap this is proving to be a life long pain I feel.

I'm only 30. single no kids. God to think how I would cope another year with endo flare up.xx

Its very scary to still feel such pain after surgery, I know. I finally was diagnosed and had excision surgery last November. I still had terrible lower back pain, hip and thigh pain. I felt he must have missed stuff. I read stuff on an American site about neuropathic pain which makes sense but it was too bad. The best thing I did was find a physio who specializes in sports massage (so hands on manipulation) she has worked with me and combined with me doing pilates when I can at home as of the last month my terrible nerve pain (it was my femeral nerve going down front of thigh) has stopped!!! I still have some sciatica which we are working on. Yes it took 9 months for me but it took 18plus years to get diagnosed so my body had taken a beating!

I know it feels aweful now but don't give up hope on that pain going. Find a good physio. (There's a good YouTube post abdominal surgery work out by fitness blender I started about 5 weeks post opp till I felt strong enough to try anything else.) Hope you'll be seeing some improvement soon :)
