Pain in inner thigh near vagina
Can you describe the pain? Is it a sharp pain?
I have severe Endo (aka stage 4) and I get this too some days. I think mine is related to nerve pain. Sometimes it happens in my inner thigh/s and sometimes it shoots down my legs or under my thigh.
If I have been sat down for longer than say30 mins and I get up it hurts near my groin but in my inner thigh it feels as though I have pulled a muscle it goes away after about 5 mins of walking
Sounds very similar to what I get sometimes. Unfortunately I can't say for sure what it is because I have no idea what is causing mine either! I thought it could just be related to my endo, nerve pain and/or bladder pain. But it doesn't happen all the time for me. If it happens a lot for you then maybe see a specialist /doctor about it. Hope you find an answer xx
It could be related to the ovaries or Douglas of pouch or even something else. Have you gotten excision surgery?
I suffer from stage 2 endometriosis and I cannot sit for more than half an hour and will probably have to find a job where I walk a lot because walking helps me immensely, especially if outdoors.
Please do get movement if that's what you need. Do some stretching, light walking or yoga everyday. Get up every 30 minutes if you have an office job. Eat healthily, drink lots of water and avoid sitting when you're not working.
I have stage 4 endo: yes my pouch of Douglas is obliterated, my ovaries are touching each other kissing ovaries they call them. So that could be it. I also have a vaginal nodule, endo on my rectum and bowel. I have a major op coming up next year to have a full hysterectomy including removal of ovaries and open bowel surgery
Why a hysterectomy? It is important to get complete excision surgery to remove the adhesions between the ovaries, the nodules, endo lesions on the rectum and bowel and so on and remember that removing the uterus and ovaries doesn't stop endo unless you get complete excision of all lesions (and even them endo can grow a little in some women). Take care and good luck!
