Emergency appointment made

Yesterday and few days now I've had no bleeding on my pads and all the sudden today HEAVY BLEEDING HAS happened 11 days now and I'm so upset and my mental health is going HIGH the prostap isnt working it cant be as the bleeding is happening but has come back heavy I need something done and I hope the doctor can do something for me

New to this group but just wanted to say I hope you get sorted soon, I know exactly what you mean about effecting mental health, and you will be feeling low if losing so much blood. Hang in there xx

I am feeling depressed and the bleeding wont stop neither! 11 days so far it's been going but past 4 days it was slowing down and no blood on my pads and today its come back heavy ....I dont know what this is?

Can you get emergency GP appointment? Just to check what’s going on and maybe get Iron levels checked? I don’t have massively heavy or periods over 7 days but get huge clots, that’s bad enough apart from the constant pain. You’re not alone x

I've been to my emergency appointment and he cant do nothing for the bleeding! Also he give me more blood tests to get done .....how long did your bleeding last?

Mine usually5-7 days so nothing too bad, it’s severe pain with my problems and clotting. Eeeeek don’t know what to say, someone with more knowledge than me might have better advice but at least they’ve done bloods 👍🏻 x

Hi, if it’s your first prostap injection you do bleed for around 10 days and it painful, then after your next injection it should stop. I did with my first then had no bleeding for 6 months now, which is a god send x

I had my period which started on the 7th sept and last lasted so far 11 _12 days but today no blood and very little white discharge I'm not getting my Hope's up with it as it could start again like yesterday I had a heavy bleed for some reason which slowed right down during the day.....but 4 days before that I had no bleeding on my pads for 4 days only when I went to the toilet but today I've not seen any blood

Hopefully you won’t get any more, only issue I have now is hot flushes but apart from that been fine so hope the same happens for you. Good luck xxx

Strange someone said to me that she had 10 days of period then a few days of a break then she started bleeding again for a week 🙄🤔 can that happen ano everyone is different and some ppl like to scare others that's just come on prostap fair enough I've had my period and been getting weird on and off bleeding after my period especially yesterday was just weird and definitely a breakthrough bleed cause I've never ever experienced a rapid bleed out like that in my life when I've been on my period so I assume it's the prostap that's now causing any form of bleeding
