How long until you get a period once coming off the mini pill?

Hi, I’m not sure if anyone can help with this question because I know it will be different for everyone.

I’m currently undergoing investigations for endometriosis, I have my pre-op in 2 weeks but still await the date for the lap itself. I got put on the mini pill, cerazette, in April to try and get my bleeding under control which it did slightly but it made my other symptoms so much worse regarding the pain and also completely lowered my mood to the point I was constantly crying and didn’t want to leave my bed, speak to anyone or socialise. I went back to my GP who has told me to come off the pill which I done straight away. It’s now been nearly 5 weeks and I’ve still not had a period at all. I’m not sure how long it takes to get back into a cycle? I feel like I’m just waiting for all the pain and bleeding to come back at once, feel on edge with it to be honest.

Hiya, when I came off the pill it took a good few months to get my body back to normal and to have a period. Just give your body time, everybody is different xx
