After a bit of advice ladies - I recovered well after laparascopy - had a lot of endometriosis removed. I’ve been subsequently diagnosed with adenomyosis and Endosalpingiosis. I had a really “normal” first cycle however this month it’s back to constant pain and bleeding - almost worse than pre surgery. Has anyone had similar? Or been diagnosed with Endosalpingiosis? At my follow up app the surgeon said total hysterectomy was the only complete treatment but I am only 31 so not wanting to go down that road. Feeling more miserable than before my operation x

I have both endometriosis and adenomyosis and had a hysterectomy in December 18 at the age of 45.

I am now free of most pain just have a bit of lower abdominal pain but nothing like before the operation.

I had the surgery via key hole and with a robotic assistant surgeon so recovering from surgery was very quick.

Best decision I have ever made.

I’ve just been told I have endosalpingiosis too! I’d never heard of it before today. Had endometriosis for almost 20 years and my docs have just had the pathology back from my latest lap last month. Haven’t had a proper consultation yet so really don’t know what it means yet. V little information about it from what I can see so far. Searching on here for some info led me to your post. Can’t offer you any advice on Endosalpingiosis I’m afraid but you’re not alone!

Hi, found your post and wondering if your pain is better. I got my left ovary and a tube out (had a suspicious cyst), and some scarping as well back in February. I did not have adhesions. My recovery was super long, till May. I have similar experience, got diagnosed with Endosalpingiosis after 18 years being diagnosed with endometriosis. Now my pain is very bad.:( It starts with ovulation and last till my period. Then about week and a half free of pain. I have migraines with aura so not much hormonal therapy is available for me. I am taking Danazol now, but it does not seem helping. If you have not tried Danazol, try it. maybe it will help you.
