What happened after your lap?

So I just called the hospital today to find out the date of my follow up appointment with the gynae (I always forget appointment dates), only to find that I've been discharged.

After my first lap, I had an appointment (which I pushed for) a few weeks after, where they explained what they saw, and gave 24 year old me the fantastic advice of "just don't get pregnant", then they said go back in 6 months but when I tried to book another appointment they told me I was discharged and had to go back via my GP.

Now it has happened again! My 6 week check up post lap was a complete waste of time, she didn't tell me anything about the surgery (luckily I had a great surgeon who came to see me just before I was sent home and compos mentis enough to talk to him), didn't listen to me explaining that my period after my surgery was genuine torture, wouldn't answer any questions and basically couldn't get me out of the room quick enough. I was given a new combined pill (the surgeon told me I needed progesterone only) and told to go back in three months, only I can't go back because I've been discharged!

Has this happened to anyone else? What sort of follow up treatment have you had? I'm in pain every day still, it hurts to pee or have sex, I bleed after sex and really suffer with fatigue and I just feel like frankly, no doctor gives a crap!
