How long after a laparoscopy does your period come?

Hello out there!

Was wondering, how long after a laparoscopy does one need to wait for her period to come? I did the surgery on January 23rd...I had little bleeding on that day but now it has been almost 2 months and I haven't seen my period...any one been through something similar?

Hi, I was on the same page just last week! Had my surgery 16th of January and I had heard that my period would resume to normal after about a month. One month came and went and still no sign until Friday when it finally came, absolutely horrendous but I was relieved!

I’ll also add that before my period came I phoned my endo specialist for advice and was told that some people experience no period for 3-4 months after surgery

Hey- my period took 3 months after my first lap but this time round it came as normal ( 2wks after surgery). The first day was horrendous but been ok after that !
