Post lap bowel pain

Hi All

I had my lap 3 weeks ago and they removed some endo and cut some adhesions. Recovering ok until pain last week so lots of bed rest which has helped.

But I'm getting severe pain going to the toilet- I wake up in the morning and am very uncomfortable and having a bowel movement is incredibly painful, to the point in the last 2 days I've felt sick and faint. Pain goes after that and then I feel uncomfortable again at night. It started when I had my first post lap period so I thought it would go away when my period ended but it hasn't. Anyone else had something similar? Do I just need to wait it out as part of my recovery? Thanks xx

Hey, I know this is an old post and I hope you’re doing well now! Just wanted to let you know that I am experiencing exactly that, excruciating pain just before passing wind or a bowel movement, lap last week. How are you doing now? Xx
