Itching and laparoscopy

I will be attending the doctors Monday but in the meantime i will like to see if anyone has any ideas what this could be? Im not sure this is anything to do with the laparoscopy? i had just over a week ago. Im taking 2 different types of antibiotics I’ve been on them 1 week already without any problem and i have another week to go.

I woke up last night to intense itching in both hands it lasted 3 hours and it was so bad i wanted to cut my hands off! Today i went for a walk and i started getting the itching in both legs below the knee. Now this evening its back in both hands and 1 foot! I don’t have and rash,skin is clear. No dry skin, i have not changed any washing powder,face wash etc any ideas on what this could be? or how i can ease the symptoms till Monday,thank you

Try some piriton and see if that helps. It mainly works on allergies but may give you a rule out for when you see gp. It’s unlikely to be antibiotics as that would of started within 3 days and also surgery would of been even quicker. It’s sounds more like a nerve thing as it’s moved and intense! I don’t think they do a lot for it though!

Try piriton first 1 tablet 3/4 times a day. Good luck

Thank you for your reply, i did wake up from surgery with itching all over for 3 days they tried me with 2 different medicines,I’m not sure what they were but they did not help and the itching went by itself in the end. Ive been fine this week and then that’s happened last night, I will try the piriton thank you x

Hi! I'm glad I'm not the only one who woke up itching all over..I asked what they had given me as it was making me itch like crazy!!
