Has anyone had a sharp lower abdomen pain whilst passing a movement?
I’ve had sharp rightside pain since my op (last year) but today i couldn’t even push, haven’t felt anything like it over than during early days of recovery.

I used to find it really painful for about 3 weeks out of the month. I have the coil and pill now so don't have a period and my IBS has settled down. So don't have pain going to loo anymore. But still have other side effects from the coil. I haven't had an op for endo yet though so can't comment on that I'm afraid. But I can certainly empathise regarding the crippling pain, that's for sure!
Hi. no one tells you how painful having a poo will be after a total hysterectomy ! I had mine in April and the lower right pain is getting worse. I am convinced it is bowel movement related. It is the same place as before I had the hysterectomy, but now I get it more often. I find taking lactulose and senna if need be help reduce the problem of having a poo hope that helps. I am 'a work in progress' so to speak. I am thinking of going back to my GP again and pushing for referral to an Endo clinic to get an MRI diagnosis
Good luck, please let us know how it goes.
I literally take picolax every other night and it doesn’t always work.
I recently tried a drug called resolor which I believe may have helped, but I only took one as the side effects were so severe (extreme vomiting and migraine so bad my face drooped, I thought I was having a stroke) that lasted 48 hours, I’m gutted that it may have worked but I can’t take it.
I will do.
I am also trying the 'blood diet' after going to see a herbal specialist. Since surgery I have tried to have an apple, banana, pear and orange every day, plus the lactulose in the early weeks, and tried to up my greens. It does help. I have never eaten so much fruit and veg! Since returning to work this hasn't gone as well and so the pain is worse.
Have you been diagnosed with recto-vaginal endometriosis, if not you should ask your doctor getting tested.
