Bleeding after hysterectomy

Hi I’ve had a hysterectomy two weeks ago & last week I started bleeding a week after surgery & again tonight I’m bleeding bright red blood & lots of pain, has anyone else experienced this please?

I am 3 .5 weeks post op and started to bleed a week ago!! I am calling the endo nurse (who my surgeon gave me her details) later today to go over, about a week ago I was in pain felt like I was due my period. Past few days blood.but not in pain?? I ring her today to see what she says etc!! Maybe you should do the same??

Thank you for your reply I cannot understand why I’m bleeding it’s supposed to get lighter as the weeks go by xx maybe I will phone up for some advice today xx

If you are in pain as well then i would definitely get it checked out.

Rang nurse she’s going to speak to a surgeon and ring me back today!!

I know this was a long time ago I’m just wondering what the result was? As I’m bleeding now 7 days bright red blood and I’m panicking. What did they say and when did it stop ? Xx
