bleeding after laparoscopy for endo

hi all, how long did you bleed after laparoscopy? i’m still bleeding and it’s been nearly 3 weeks now. also horrible period paids and lethargy!

hey, i had my operation on Thursday last week and I only bled for the 5 days! I’m still feeling pretty groggy and tender but I’d contact your gp if you’re still bleeding after so long - that doesn’t sound right to me. Hope you’re better soon xxx

apparently you can bleed for up to 4 weeks my doctor said so hopefully it will settle down. getting fed up of it now! hope you have a speedy recovery too x

aww bless you. i’d be so annoyed if i bled for that long so i’m really lucky that it appears to have stopped so soon. that being said, i had a new mirena coil fitted during my surgery so maybe that had something to do with it! thanks lovely, I hope yours is going well too other than the bleeding xxx
