Hello everyone it's been one week for my laparoscopic surgery of endometriosis, the severe pain of surgery was their for 5 to 6 days then the pain slows down and I was able to walk and get up my own, but today is my 10 day after lap and the pain again started on the place where the endometriosis tissues are excised and there is a pins and needles pain on the stitches specially on belly button.
Can any one advice me why it is so, and what should I do?
Can I climb stairs and do ups and downs several times in a day after endometriosis laparoscopic surgery?
In how much time does we recover after laparoscopic surgery

15 days or 30 days as per your age and healing process. But still i have pain cyst removed area when i would do any work or sit sofa etc.i feeling something Right side utreus area muscle moved when i nap. Now you taking any hormone tablet for stop period?.
I am 28 years old, No I am not taking any hormone tablet for stopping period my Doctor didn't told me anything about my periods my date was 18 but since after surgery on 14 Nov I didn't get my periods.
I started working after a week is it because of that?
I do my household chores which needs to climb stairs ups and down.
Recently my friend do laparoscopic surgery cause ovarian Cyst rupture 6cm. But doctors didn't given no hormone tablet. So she ask that tablet for stop period. But doctors told this cyst is not endometriosis. Endometriosis patients only need stop period after laparoscopic surgery. You ask the doctor what kind of cyst operated to you. Or if you have only endometriosis lesions?. Another one reason is any one women trying to pregnant. Doctor didn't give any hormone tablet for stopping period. Take fresh water bath it's good for stitches to heal quickly.
Recovery time depends on each individual but usually 2 to 4 weeks before you feel completely back to yourself. I suggest you take it easy with yourself, try to keep the incision dry and clean and just be patient with your body.
Hey, it's perfectly normal! So don't worry too much.
The pain where endo was; my specialist says that's because our bodies cannot tell the difference between removal of endo pain and endo pain therefore it feels like the same thing.
Pain under the stictches; this is because there's lots of layers that make up the abdominal wall including fatty layers, muscles and skin. Each layer has to be stitched separately so there can be some pain under there. It can also take some time to heal even though the outside looks fine.
You can do most normal activities after about a week after your lap, but take it easy and listen to your body; if it really hurts stop. You'll feel tired as your body needs lots of energy to heal inside so eat and drink regularly.
If you're not on hormones your first few cycles may be a bit different; the uterus doesn't like being moved around so it can mean you have longer / shorter cycles, period on a different date, first period later / earlier. Expect the first few to be heavier and longer, but this will ease up so don't worry.
It'll take about 5 to 6 months to completely recover from your lap to see what your new "normal" is. - if you've had lots done that is, for some women it can be a lot shorter. You should really see improvements - 50% reduction in your symptoms at about 3 months, which is why your post op appointment should be at about 5 months. I took about 4 months ish to completely recover and not worry about operation recovery. I started back on full exercise routines at about 3 weeks to a month after lap.
I think the key is to try and keep your routine normal (waking up, eating, sleeping); but just do a little exercise and often to build it up.
