Awaiting a total hip replacement

Hi everyone

Am new to this but am wondering if anyone can shed some light on how long a pre op lasts as am waiting a total hip replacement after a nasty fall in November last year

Had my pre op in may of this year and still no op date even though and on a emergency waiting list and whenever I phone I feel like am being fobbed off by the consultants p.a

Also found out my consultant is away until August so I can’t speak to him and don’t know what to do next or who to get in touch with regarding my hip replacement

I’d appreciate any help or info regarding this matter
