Abdominal wall endo

I have just been diagnosed with endometriosis after suffering with pain from a lump near my C-section scar for a couple of years. After an ultrasound, MRI and finally an ultrasound guided biopsy I got the diagnosis of endo.

After doing some googling it would appear that I have abdominal wall endo. I am suffering with swelling in my stomach and it is really getting me down now, I lost 10 stone and have recently put a bit which I am trying to lose (successfully, lost 12.5lb in 2 weeks) but the swelling in my stomach is meaning clothes that fitted me when I was this weight before are struggling to fit.

I am currently waiting for a referral appointment to gynaecology to discuss what the treatment options are as my general surgeon thought that would be the best plan of action but is there anything I can do to help with the swelling in the mean time? I have made an appointment to see my GP to see about some form of birth control as I have read that this can help and was wondering if anyone has any success with this?
