Surgery complications anyone else ?

Hi, I don’t have endo but As my mum died of endometrial cancer and the family history for the ladies isn’t great, I have always suffered terribly with periods, after having my family I was agreed that a hysterectomy would be the best thing......

Long story short I had an endometrial ablation in January, thought that was it done and dusted only to have 3 weeks of severe pain and antibiotics as one infection after another. Was re-admitted to hospital and had a series of test done....

Result... damaged ureter and blocked kidney, I have had a stent in for 7 weeks then it was removed more Tests done it hasn’t worked and I now need major surgery, as this is booked for 6 weeks I today had another stent put in and more dye tests run .

My question is has anyone else had anything similar? I’m terrified, in pain, probably hooked on morphine as I’ve been taking maximum does since end of January and tearful like you can’t believe!
