Can I ask what pain meds everyone is on please? I was on naproxen but they did nothing now I’m on co-codmal and they just make me feel spaced out and do nothing much for the pain xx

I've got codeine which I only take when I'm bad as it spaces me out too. I usually wait until just before bed and that way I get off to sleep. It does help with my pain thankfully.

Have you thought of trying cbd oil? I've been looking into it and I'm definitely going to try it. Apparently it's great for pain, inflammation and sleep... Basically everything you need when living with endo! It's all natural and no real side effects. Apparently you need to get good quality stuff though. Lots of people mention cbd brothers. I'm just waiting until I get paid as it's not cheap.

Xx

Tramadol most months but this month I've got away lightly with just naproxen once a day!

I'm allergic to naproxen so they put me on Mefanemic Acid (think I've spelt it right) lol I'm also on codine if I get bad, I recently ended up in hospital though with pelvic pain so was in all sort in hospital x

I’m on naproxen , mefanemic acid and 30/500 co codamol it’s awful but I try and only take them when I’m in agony because I don’t want to be addicted or them not work because I take them so often xx

I take tranexamic acid everyday when I’m on and cocodmol at least 3 times a day. I was on mefanemic acid as well at one point. Tramadol scares me I have known people to get addicted to that. I just need something that’s actually going to ease he pain, I hate how much it controls my life.

For me, the key is consistency. I take Paracetamol and high strength ibuprofen with lysine (367mg x2) most days and add 60-90mg of codeine when i’m Heading for a flair up.

I’ve tried naproxen and gavapentin, both gave me unpleasant side effects.

I’ve had two surgery’s to remove endo from uterine ligaments and recto vaginal. Neither stopped the pain.

I have recently seen a pain management specialist who has prescribed oral morph.

He also talked about pregabalin and tramadol.

The high strength ibuprofen, codeine and paracetamol combo are effective for me. Needs to be prescribed codeine though as over the counter dose is too small.

I also take omprazole to protect my stomach from the ibuprofen.

I use a tens machine during flare ups and often have it on throughout the night.

Best of luck getting relief X
