I am still waiting for my gynae appointment but I had a sigmoidoscopy on monday which i found extremely painful even though results were clear and no biopsies taken or anything.
I have now got my period early.
Anyone with diagnosed endo had similar experience?

Mine was excruciating. I had endo on outside bowel removed couple of years ago but was not found on last laparoscopy. As the bowel twists and turns it can be missed. I also had biopsies taken but nothing was found. May not be on inside but could be on the outside. if you are still having symptoms arrange an appt with your gynea and ask them what they can do. You need a lap. I wish you luck.
kitty270 thanks for your reply. What do you take or do to help bowel pain?
Gastro Dr said ibuprofen and NSAIDS irritate bowel and codeine constipates me so I take paracetamol and peppermint and acupuncture but it's not helping
For me I have to weigh up what pain is worse and then deal with the rest. For me the endo pain is worse than bowel pain so I take naproxen, gabapentin and tramadol despite it affecting bowels as it really helps my endo pain. Warning this is detailed info and maybe TMI. if your pain is a heavy cramping pain then you need to think about reducing gas building foods which cause involuntary movement in the bowel. Change diet, don't eat large quantities of vegetables. If your pain is due to pushing to go to loo then keep stools very soft. I use laxido powders and I also eat 2tsps of chia seeds in yogurt which help support the bowel walls and keeps you regular. Other than that I drink lots of water and eat foods such as honey dew Mellon as the sugars in the mellon help to move stools and keep me soft. It's really difficult because I want to eat healthy and crave vegetables but bulk producing foods is not good for people who have endo pain from bowel movemets. Also as an added thing take magnesium vitamins as these are really helpful in general to bones and organ tissie in the body and also have a mild laxative effect of thier own. Hope this helps. Take care. Message me anytime x
