Hi
I know I will need to see my GP but wondered if any one had similar experience. I had my Laparodcopy back in June 2017 told endometriosis found and chocolate cysts and kissing ovaries and that all was stuck together. The gynaecologist removed as much as he could but couldn't get it all so I was prescribed on my follow up consultation lorestin 20 contraceptive pill. I didn't take at first for a few months but once started bled very heavily and inbetween bleeding. & really bad headaches.
In February this year I decided to stop taking lorestin 20 and haven't had a period since end of February. I have done the usual pregnancy tests as always told to do even though I can't conceive. I'm wondering if endometriosis has spread or if it's cysts or is it usual to have a delay with this contraceptive pill. But as I had heavy bleeding while on the pill my thinking is that some thing not right again.
I have brought a private blood test to check my ca-125 levels as before that test result was up which did indicate a problem. I have put in a compliant again at my surgery over the care of my daughter. So while I am sorting out what surgery to move to I have not gone to my GP not since our disasterous appointment. I had told myself if I get ill I go to the walk in centre but I know they won't deal with this and say see my own GP. Which is an issue I know many reading this will probably say see your GP which I will have to. But I just wondered if any similar experiences with lorestin 20 contraceptive pills.
Thanks Tracey
