Shoulder pain - anyone else get this?

Hey so this is the second month I've noticed that just around my period (a day before and two days during) I have really bad shoulder pain (kind of like an inch round the back from the top of shoulders). I went to the docs last month and she thinks I pulled my supraspinatus muscle - one used for lifting and moving stuff at a height. I don't remember doing any of that but I just accepted it - it cleared up in a week so I didn't think anything of it. Well a month on at the same time it's back - it's the right shoulder and kind of causes slight pins and needles / numb in my elbow and little finger. It's not enough to scream in pain but I do need painkillers to cope with it.

Anyone one else have this sort of pain? My heat and everything else circulation / breathing wise is fine.

Yes, I also get this about a week before my period and as soon as it starts, the pain goes but then gets worse everywhere else!

I just take painkillers, hot water bottles and baths but nothing really helps to ease it and I have no explanation why it happens either.
