It is one of the main pains I get. Feels like I cant touch the area and even effects my bladder and bowels. I had cysts on my ovaries, could that be a possibility? Xx

Thanks for the reply I’ve had chats on my ovaries before and didn’t have much pain I’m currently waiting for my second lap in april and my consultant said I could have endo and adeno but I’m struggling with it at the moment have all the other symptoms just didn’t know if anyone else had this pressure pain.

Did you have the cysts removed? Xx

Hi Lou,

Yeah when they did my lap they removed cysts from both ovaries that were full of old blood. Chocolate cysts. They weren't huge think 6cm was was the biggest. But enough to cause.the pain I had. I found out about a year ago I also have adeno. They found it when they scanned me. Not knowing is a massive part of the battle. But I've always described my pain as quite often a pressure feeling. I hope the second lap gives you some answers xxx

My right ovary almost always has a pressure-type pain. I've found lupron to be helping some what but have only been on it for a little while.

No worries! It is a pretty intense med (IM injection every month) as it shuts off your ovaries completely but has been really helpful. Add-back hormone therapy helps with side effects :) good luck!
