TENS machine?

Does anyone use one for endo pain? I’m wondering if it might really help? Can anyone recommend it (and if so, any brand?). Wondering if the maternity ones might work well?

Thanks! X

Aw thank you - pain is driving me mad. Think I probably need better painkillers but equally keen to try as many different things as possible! Off to Boots tomorrow for me then! X

Would def recommend these, especially on days you can’t take usual pain relief for whatever reason! I got one from Lloyd’s pharmacy, reasonably priced and easy to get replacement pads. The only thing for me is I find it difficult to use at work due to the wires, if it’s something you’re contemplating using a lot I’d recommend investing in a wireless one so you’re not restricted on when you can use. I think the wireless model Lloyd’s does is around £29.99. X

Oh... I like the sound of a wireless one as would definitely like to use at work! Thank you!

I use one of these. I still experience a lot of pain but while wearing my Tens machine I feel some slight relief. I got mine of Amazon. Would definitely recommend this.

I don’t use it for stomach endo pain (I don’t really know why, I think the thought of it on my stomach makes me feel odd) but I constantly use it for my back pain and it’s great.

The lead consultant in the pain management team for the South East told me not to waste my money on an expensive one and recommended the wired 4-pad version from Lloyd’s pharmacy for around £15. It’s really great and quite discrete so I can wear it on the go :)

Thanks ladies. Off to Lloyd’s later... don’t see many open on a Sunday? Couldn’t find a wireless one in Boots... they did have a pen one???

The Endo team at my hospital said not to get the maternity one. Get a cheap non-maternity one if you can. Hope this helps
