Hi Carlina90,

I've a TENS machine and I do find it helpful, it certainly subdues the pain, but can only be used during the day and not at night...certainly worth a try especially of you are looking for a drug free alternative to pain relief..

Good Luck finding a solution......

Why can't it be used at night?

I also have a Tens machine,I was loaned one from a pain clinic, actually for ME muscle pain and then bought one. They can be bought fairly cheaply from most big chemists or online.I found it worked well with only endo pain/cramps but now have an even bigger problem with adhesions and it makes it much worse.I have one with rechargeable batteries,as if you wear all day it eats batteries! It is definitely worth a try.

Hope it helps. If the Tens doesn't have full instructions, with positions to put for different pains,it is well wroth asking your Gp or a physio for advice.I had to experiment with different positions and different modes and strengths. Its a very individual thing.

For some people it works other it doesn't I had endo and also have a bulging disk a flat disk and siatica. I'm now waiting to see the pain team for injections all down my spine due to the awful pain I suffer with. I was givent the tens machine and found it rubbish it diid nothing for me and had to have it up almost as high as it could go because I couldn't feel it otherwise. Xx

Hi carlina90,

I have recently purchased a TENS machine and found it helpful in pain control. I have a four pad machine so i can put two on my tummy and two on my thigh where the pain drags down my leg. You have to persevere, i started to feel help after about 30 mins....

They arent for everyone but i was so desperate to try anything and I'm now glad i did.

There is one for about £9 in Lloyds pharmacy so not too expensive to try out.

Hope this helps

Sharpee xx
